Magic Kingdom Park
Reminder! Lunch and Dinner Extended at The Diamond Horseshoe: Magic Kingdom Park guests will continue to have a table-service option for lunch and dinner at The Diamond Horseshoe through July 4. The Diamond Horseshoe is open daily, serving up a hearty, all-you-care-to-enjoy feast for Guests. As a reminder, the meal includes a salad, followed by a platter of flavorful entrees to choose from: barbecue pulled pork, sliced turkey, country smoked sausage or braised beef with all the fixin’s. Dessert is a chocolate brownie topped with a toasted marshmallow. Pricing is $33 plus tax for adults; $19 plus tax for children ages 3-9 years. Reservations are available.
Reminder! Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Started June 5: Get ready for another rocking rendezvous—the fun begins at America Gardens Theatre in June with the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series. Featuring renditions of songs from Boston and the Eagles to covers of classics by Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen and the Bee Gees, Sounds Like Summer is a cover-band blast from the past that’s fun for the whole family. The summer concerts kick off with Don’t Look Back – A Tribute to the Boston on June 5 to June 11, 2016.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! Park Hours Extended on Select Dates: Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be extending operating hours, June 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and July 2, 2016. Park closing time has changed from 9:00pm to 10:00pm and fireworks were added at 9:45pm.

Reminder! The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic Now Open: “The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic,” a new musical inspired by the blockbuster live-action film “The Jungle Book,” debuted over the weekend at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This limited-engagement nighttime offering immerses guests in a retelling of the adventure of Mowgli and friends at the brand new Discovery River theater in the Asia section of the park. The show features dozens of colorful performers that appear on the water and surround the audience in song and visual artistry. Massive curtains of water, illuminated with imagery from film serve as the backdrop to the show, as Bagheera and other favorite characters from “The Jungle Book” take us on a journey through the jungle.

New! ESPN Club Now Taking Some Reservations: ESPN Club is now taking reservations for lunch, Monday–Friday only. Guests will continue to be seated in the order of arrival for lunch Saturday and Sunday, as well as dinner throughout the week.
New! Caricature Artist Now at Disney’s Beach Club Resort: A new caricature artist is now appearing outside Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort! The artist is available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6–11 p.m.

New! Bus Loop Now Open at Disney Springs: The Disney motorcoaches now have their own dedicated bus lanes to approach Disney Springs, giving them more efficient access to the property. And once there, guests are dropped off at The Gateway, offering a stunning arrival into the newest neighborhood. With eighteen load zones, a picture-perfect drop off location, and centrally located access to Town Center, guests will love the new transportation to Disney Springs! With the opening of this new location, the former Marketplace bus loop will support other transportation needs including vehicles coming from nearby Good Neighbor Hotels, Hotel Plaza Boulevard and Shades of Green.
New! Now Open at Disney Springs: STK Orlando and Lilly Pulitzer: Disney Springs continues to celebrate grand openings this week, with two venues officially opening their doors to Guests. Offering a modern twist on the traditional American steakhouse, STK Orlando is now open in the Landing. STK Orlando serves dinner daily from 5-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online by visiting STK’s website. In addition, Lilly Pulitzer is now open in Town Center, offering a treasure trove of clothing and accessories that feature the playful prints the brand is known for. Lilly Pulitzer is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
New! Water Park Transportation Changes: Transportation to Disney Water Parks has been adjusted. For bus service to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park: Resort Guests should take a bus to Disney Springs. A transfer at Disney Springs may be required after 1 p.m. For bus service to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park: Resort Guests should take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and then a bus to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.
New! Preferred Parking Now Testing at Disney’s Water Parks: After piloting a new parking option at the theme parks, the pilot is being extended to water parks. In addition to complimentary parking, Guests may choose preferred parking for $15, which will provide Guests with closer parking to the entrance and bottled water for each Guest. The additional parking option begins at Disney’s Blizzard Beach on June 5 and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon on June 19.
New! NFL Pro Bowl Week Activities Coming to Walt Disney World Resort: The NFL officially announced at a press conference last week at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort that the 2017 Pro Bowl is coming to Orlando and will be played at Camping World Stadium near downtown. But the best part is several of the official Pro Bowl activities will be staged at Walt Disney World Resort as part of the league’s new approach of making Pro Bowl Week a celebration of all levels of football – from youth to high school to the NFL’s best. If you want to get in on the Pro Bowl action, fans can sign up for exclusive pre-sale ticket opportunities at www.ProBowl.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public in November.
Reminder! ‘Speak Like A Whale Day’ June 11 at Disney Parks: On Saturday, June 11, 2016 Disney Parks will celebrate Speak Like a Whale Day. Taking a cue from everyone’s favorite forgetful fish, Dory, and her new friends Bailey, a beluga whale, and Destiny, a nearsighted whale shark, guests can learn to speak the language while taking part in some whale-sized fun. Guests can celebrate in a number of ways:
- Guests at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will receive a complimentary button to celebrate the day on June 11 (while supplies last).
- At Disney Springs, families can dive into “undersea” themed activities, including a live DJ, games and giveaways. Young guests can attend “Whale Speak University” and give speaking the language a try.
- At The Seas with Nemo & Friends in Epcot, guests can learn about the real-life counterparts of the characters from the film and see them in their massive 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium home. Experts from Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Team will be on hand throughout the day to help guests find Dory and her friends and get a closer look at their world.
- Dory and some of her new friends from Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” have joined Crush at the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction at Epcot. Guests can meet Destiny the whale shark, Bailey the beluga whale and Hank the “septopus.”
June 3 – 27: Representatives from Precious Moments dolls will be on hand this month as they showcase, you guessed it, fan favorite dolls from the collection. In addition to your favorite classics, this month Precious Moments will showcase the special wedding inspired “Happily Ever After” collection. Find them throughout the day, each day at Marketplace Fun Finds in Disney Springs Marketplace.
June 10 – 11: Take part in a special showcase with Disney artists Costa Alavezos, Joe Kaminski, Randy Noble and Darren Wilson as we celebrate some of their newest releases, Friday, June 10 from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 11 from 4 – 6 p.m. in Art of Disney in Disney Springs Marketplace.
June 9 – 12: Meet renowned international artist Larry Dotson from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., each day at Art of Disney and add some of his latest pieces to your collection.
New! ALEX AND ANI ‘Words Are Powerful’ Collection Debuts: On June 13, ALEX AND ANI will debut new “Words Are Powerful” color infusion bangles inspired by Disney sayings and attributes of some of the most beloved Disney characters. Four Disney Princesses will be featured including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and Aurora. Each of these bangles will be available for $44.95 plus tax and come in Shiny Gold and Shiny Silver finishes. They will be available online, on the Shop Disney Parks app and in stores at:
